"In January my husband and I were very lucky to be part of Pam Welsh's Chinese New Year one week trip to Hong Kong. Having worried about a crowded tour with many people we didn't know, we resisted Pam's invitation for many years before taking the United Airlines direct flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong.

This trip was more than fantastic !!!! We had 5 nights at the Langham Court Hotel in Kowloon , directly across from Hong Kong , 2 full guided tours, grand stand seats at the Chinese New Year Parade in Kowloon complete with gift packets from the sponsor Cathay Pacific Airlines, and a Chinese buffet along the water to view the New Year Fireworks. Very Dramatic. All this for an incredible bargain price.

The group was amazingly congenial, friendly and positive. We all loved our superb accommodations with great service and continental breakfast at the hotel. We were amazed at how beautiful and receptive the city of Kowloon and Hong Kong was for tourists. The buses, ferries and subway were all reasonable, reliable and very efficient. The Markets were fun and inexpensive and the guided tours were the most comprehensive in history and culture. In addition we had plenty of time to schedule our own side trips either by ourselves or along with a few of the other people on our tour that also wanted to see the same things.

It was an outstanding week and we loved the entire package and plan to return next year. Thanks Pam for including us."
